Aaron van der Heyden
DIRECTOR
Aaron has been practicing in the Family Law jurisdiction since 2000 when he first began in legal practice.
Aaron takes a pragmatic and commercial approach to the practice of Family Law. He endeavours to arm clients with the information they require in order to resolve matters themselves where possible.
When legal intervention is required, Aaron tries to limit the issues in dispute so that parties can settle their Family Law matter as quickly as possible to enable them to move on with their lives.
Aaron draws upon his years of dealing with diverse range of family units in advising clients and to come up with creative solutions to often complex and difficult problems.
Aaron can provide tailored advice on a wide variety of matters including:
- The appropriate distribution of a couples’ assets;
- Care arrangements with respect of the children of the relationship;
- Child Support, including Child Support Agreements;
- Spousal maintenance, including appropriate support for parties pending the finalisation of their matter; and
- Financial Agreements, including those to be entered into prior to the commencement of living together, during the relationship or after a separation.
Aaron prides himself on being solution focussed and circumventing unnecessary conflict for parties which only adds unnecessary stress to what, for clients, is usually already a stressful process.
